It's less common to see her from behind, but I like the dynamic feel of her walking. _ Did you know: the gold flame atop her torch is coated in 24K pure gold? And access to it (for the public at least) has been closed since 1916 after a nearby bomb explosion which killed hundreds of people damaged Lady Liberty's arm. Later it was discovered the sabotage was caused by German spies.
