Castle of dreams. _ Named after the Canadian Prime Minister who helped secure the site for this hotel, the Fairmont Château Laurier stands proud in the centre of Ottawa for over 100 years. Charles Melville Hays commissioned the construction (who was the President of Grand Trunk Pacific Railway) but tragically died on the Titanic sinking just weeks before the scheduled opening. - There's so much fascinating history in this one building. If you do visit, ask about the iPad tour so you can walk around the hotel and find out more about it. #myottawa #momentsCLH @fairmontlaurier

Penguin pals. At Montreal Biodome. I'm pretty sure the top one is scratching itself, although it looks headless. Don't worry. No penguins were harmed in taking this photo. #canada #penguins #mtlmoments

Erin here. Look at my beautiful award. It was awarded to travel with bender for our photography. So I wouldn't be here without the man who runs this account. Josh I'm dedicating this to you xoxo #blogher15 #VOTY

Rooftop garden... With a view. Herbs, fruit and edible flowers grow on the rooftop of the @fairmontqueene hotel in downtown Montreal. These are used by the chefs in the hotel's restaurant. Insider tip: While the roof is normally locked, if you are staying here and simply ask concierge for guided access and they'll be happy to oblige. And the views are breathtaking too! #montreal #canada #mtlmoments #momentsQEH

Montreal's most widely recognised landmark and also the world's tallest leaning tower (take that Pisa!). At 175.5 metres in height, the Olympic Stadium Tower is magnificent from every angle. @montreal #canada

Congratulations to Erin on her acceptance of a Voices Of The Year award at #blogher15 in New York. Travel With Bender won a photography award. Please give her a like- she's awesome! #VOTY

Montmorency Park waterfall is taller than Niagara Falls, and only 10 mins outside of Old Quebec City. Rode the cable car to the top and walked over that bridge yesterday. A gorgeous view and must-see when visiting Quebec. #quebecregion #canada

The most photographed hotel in the world. Apparently. I'm not sure how to test that. But I added one more photo today of Fairmont Le Château Frontenacto in Quebec, Canada to that tally. It really is a spectacular hotel and we'll worth the title. Walking around Quebec City reminded us of Europe. Really enjoying this city. #quebecregion #canada

What the?! Spotted this fella on the side of the road driving around Prince Edward Island, Canada. It's a rather elaborate mailbox. Do you love golf this much? #canada #princeedwardisland

We were walking on the ocean floor here... Literally! Several hours prior, this whole area was underwater. Unbelievable! #canada #hopewellrocks
