And Michelangelo's David sculpture is one of those.⠀ ___⠀ ⠀ It gives off such an intense energy - the piercing glare over the shoulder, staring down the enemy, ready to pounce with the slingshot. This doesn't come across in most photos of the statue. The detail in the eyes are amazing. It almost feels like he's about to leap off the pedestal. ⠀ ___⠀ ⠀ We saw this and more on a "Best of Florence" tour with @WalksTours.
