"Rough diamonds may sometimes be mistaken for worthless pebbles." - Thomas Browne _ Suleman, my bedouin tour guide in Wadi Rum, Jordan. _ Sometimes it's the people you meet when you travel that leave the fondest memories. This guy made my trip to Wadi Rum unforgettable. He drove the 4x4 truck while I sat in the open-air bench on the back soaking up the views. Suleman made hilarious comments along the way. Most of them completely un-politically correct. Some downright offensive. And he even created a local lunch... without washing his hands. The historical facts he shared were scant. But he was entertaining, endeering, cheeky, charming and lovable every step of the way. A rough diamond, if I every found one. _ Camera: Canon EOS 70D Lens: Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 ISO: 100 Focal length: 22mm Aperture: f/6.3 Shutter: 1/320 sec _ #humansofjoy #natgeotraveler
