"When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused." – Rainer Maria Rilke _ The barren moon-like landscape of Sarakiniko Beach on the Greek island of Milos. _ Part 5 of 7 of my Greek Week series. The contrasting white rock and deep saphire sea looked like a scene off a postcard. Perfect. _ This is the same island where the famous Venus of Milos statue was uncovered in 1820. We loved spending time exploring this island, absolutely gorgeous! _ #greekislands #beautifuldestinations
