"You really never know what treasure you'll find when you take the time to look closer." Took a hike around the outskirts of Ubud, Bali this morning with Erin. Discovered new paths and exquisite scenic vistas... and interesting locals. This gentlemen was taking a break from working in the rice fields and didn't speak a word of English. When I gestured if he would mind me taking a photo he was more than willing. As we left Erin said "thank you" in Balinese and his eyes lit up like he'd won the lottery.
