It was formerly a Byzantine church and then a mosque under the Ottomans. Now it's been changed into a museum which highlights the cultural significance of both. _ Turkey has been in the news headlines recently due to tragic events. But the coverage doesn't reflect the incredible beauty and history of this country where east meets west. I still love Istanbul. _ #oneistanbul
